Our vision is to create a tourism led development, a holiday lodge park set within mature parkland grounds. This will be underpinned by the provision of a marketplace area including a hotel, function space and leisure/retail spaces including educational facilities for the virtual experiences.

Lancaster District Local Plan 2011-2031 –

NOTICE OF EXAMINATION HEARINGS.

On 15 May 2018 Lancaster City Council submitted the Strategic Policies and Land Allocations DPD and Development Management DPD to the Secretary of State for Examination. (The Local Plan for Lancaster District). The Secretary of State has appointed Richard McCoy, BSc MSc Dip TP MRTPI IHBC of the Planning Inspectorate to conduct the Examination into the soundness of the documents.
 


As part of the Examination, local hearing sessions will be held as follows:

Week 1: Tuesday 9 April 2019 to Thursday 11 April 2019

Week 2: Wednesday 24 April 2019 to Friday 26 April 2019

Week 3 (reserve dates, if required): Tuesday 30 April 2019, Wednesday 1 May 2019 and Friday 3 May 2019

10am start 

Only those invited to attend the hearing sessions by the Planning Inspector will have the opportunity to speak to assist the Inspector with his consideration of issues, which he wishes to explore. Other members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing sessions to watch proceedings.
